Cialis is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor that is administered orally and is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). The drug is taken with the dose of 5-20 mg each day before any sexual activity. The drug itself is called tadalafil. Cialis is the marketing name. it was approved by the FDA to treat not only ED, but benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) as well.
Cialis has a variety of side effects, with the most common being a flush of the user’s face (or even the neck and/or chest). Other side effects include headaches, stomach aches and diarrhea, stuffy/runny nose, sore throat, sneezing, muscle pain, backache, issues with the memory (such as forgetfulness), low blood pressure, nausea, color changes in vision and blurred vision, priapism and abnormal ejaculation.
This drug lowers the blood pressure that is brought about by nitrates (isordil, imdur and nitroglycerine) and also amplifies the increase in your heart rate. Cialis’ breakdown and its elimination from the body diminishes by erythromycin, ritonavir, ketoconazole, indinavir and itraconazole.
