Does Female Viagra Exist In Australia

For many women, the prospect of a healthy sex life is a goal that isn’t always easy. Besides the difficulties of navigating the dating waters, conditions such as female sexual dysfunction. It is fairly common to hear the word Viagra thrown around but if you aren’t a man does it actually work? The answer is twofold. There are forms of female Viagra available to women in Australia but since Viagra is designed for the male body and the two sexes have varying reproductive systems it isn’t going to work for them. Instead, females suffering from sexual dysfunction will have to take a version of Viagra specifically intended for them. An example of female Viagra is called Flibanserin (Addyi) and was only recently approved for use in treating low libido in women.

What exactly is female sexual dysfunction?

The reality is that men and women both suffer from sexual dysfunction but in the case of women, the lack of a sex drive must be treated differently than in men. A hallmark of female sexual dysfunction is a lack of sex drive and low libido which makes leading a healthy sex life more of a chore than an enjoyable experience. The most simple way to treat female sexual dysfunction is with a pill called Addyi. This small pill is meant to be taken exclusively by women and it’s designed to treat women experiencing low libido. Studies show that 4 out of every 10 women experience sexual problems. This is why a version of female Viagra is so important but it received little attention in comparison to well known drugs like Cialis and Viagra.

Treatments for females

The easiest treatment for female sexual dysfunction is Addyi which comes in the form of a pill that is taken daily. This treatment is noninvasive and low cost but women who are being treated with Addyi see noticeable improvements. There are some side effects of this medication that include low blood pressure, lightheadedness, and fainting. The drug should start to work in a matter of weeks but if you don’t experience a benefit and an increased sex drive doctors reccomend not taking Addyi for more than eight weeks. If the drug will work with your particular body chemistry it will work inside that first eight week window.

There is another drug used to treat female sexual dysfunction called Female Viagra in Australia. This is a more invasive treatment for female sexual dysfunction that involves getting the drug through an injection. Bremelanotide (Vyleesi) is injected directly into the abdomen or thigh around 45 minutes before sex. It is meant to be taken no more than once a day and it has some potential side effects such as nausea, vomiting and irritation at the injection site. Speak with your doctor before taking any medication and find out which treatment is right for you.

  1. Although I have only been taking this for a short while, I do think it has started helping my body feel more “correct”, for lack of a better term. I am aware this is a gradual change and it may be my imagination but I do get a “hum” that I never had before!

  2. I didn’t even know they made female Viagra until the other day when my boyfriend suggested it. I tried it out today and I was absolutely enthralled by the effectiveness of it. I had no idea!

  3. I had no idea female Viagra existed and went for years suffering from sexual issues as a woman. After introducing it to my life, I am much happier and so is my boyfriend.

  4. Using Addyi was a good option for me. I had been feeling enthused and wanted to have sex but wasn’t as confident as I used to be. I found myself taking it and the opportunities for sex were greater than before I started using it.

  5. Yes, there is a female Viagra! Why do men get all the attention when things stop working? I take it and the little magic pill does wonders for me! I really feel like my old or I should say younger) self because of it! It’s nice to feel those fun little feelings again~
